The 4,400-square-foot freestanding Mexican restaurant and bar will be next to another highly anticipated restaurant, Parkside at The Grove. The restaurants are slated to be open in the summer of 2024 and are the last two buildings to deliver in the nine-building public-private project.

“We could not be more excited to have a Hacienda Bar & Grill restaurant call The Grove home,” Snellville Mayor Barbara Bender said in a news release. “With Hacienda’s popularity in the area due to its unique blend of traditional Mexican recipes and modern culinary innovation, we’re sure The Grove Taqueria will be a huge hit and are proud to be able to offer such an immersive and authentic dining experience.”

This new development comes on the heels of several other milestones recently celebrated by The Grove, like the grand openings of the Elizabeth H. Williams Branch of the Gwinnett County Public Library and Northside Medical Snellville. The second floor of the library building houses THRIVE | Coworking, a hybrid workspace.

Northside Medical Snellville is a 45,000-square-foot medical office building and adjacent 7,500-square-foot medical retail building housing a multispecialty surgery center, urgent care, orthopedics, women’s imaging, general surgery and physical therapy.

Other updates at The Grove include the completion of the mosaic-surrounded splash pad area and pavilion gathering space. Tenants for the signature Market building have not yet been announced. The Market building, in addition to the two freestanding restaurants, Parkside and The Grove Taqueria, is slated for opening in the summer of 2024.
