Mozaika Mezze, expected to open this summer, will serve Turkish, Greek and Lebanese cuisine for lunch and dinner. The restaurant will feature a selection of small plates (mezze), freshly baked pide (flatbreads), and a full bar with fresh cocktails and a large wine collection.

With two chefs (one skilled in seafood, the other skilled in Middle Eastern cooking), except a variety of unique dishes, with about 40 items on the daily menu and seasonal or daily specials.

“We’re going to have creative items on the menu. It’s not going to be like any typical Mediterranean restaurant,” owner Okan Ozyurteri told What Now Atlanta. “That’s why you’re going to be seeing a lot of different things on the menu that you’ve never had.”

Ozyurteri also owns Pasha Restaurant and Bar in Buckhead, Mandolin Kitchen in Sandy Springs and Pera Bistro.

Mozaika Mezze will aim to create an upscale experience that’s easy to get to (with valet parking offered) and serves dishes with fresh, local ingredients.

“This is a real five-star dining experience,” Ozyurteri said.

The new restaurant will be located at 2560 Old Milton Pkwy in a space that was formerly occupied by the Mexican restaurant Señor Patron. The 7,000-square-foot space is undergoing a total revamp of the dining room and patio. It will seat 230 people inside and 70 outside.

After its debut in Alpharetta, Ozyurteri said the concept could grow to more locations, possibly in Buckhead or Midtown.
