A new Residence Inn by Marriott is in the works at 470 S. Houston Lake Road, according to construction documents. The site is adjacent to Morris Bank.

The four-story building is expected to have 100 guest rooms, according to the plans. The documents indicate plans for a pool and an outdoor patio.

Residence Inn by Marriott offers suites for extended stays. According to the company, there are more than 870 properties across more than 19 countries and territories.

The developer of the new Warner Robins hotel is PeachState Hospitality Group, a family-owned hotel management and development company headquartered in Warner Robins.

Their portfolio includes several properties across Georgia, including Residence Inn by Marriott hotels in Decatur, McDonough and Augusta. The group that has been in business since 1989 was recognized as a Marriott International Developer of the Year in 2018.
