KPot’s website confirms that the Howell Mill Square restaurant is on their “Coming Soon” list and is aiming for a mid-2022 debut, the rep said.

The website also lists 2967 Cobb Parkway SE in Akers Mill Square and 3983-4073 Lavista Rd. at Northlake Festival in Tucker as future restaurant locations. These restaurants are a part of KPot expansion across the U.S. with new locations in Texas, North Carolina, New York, Florida, Delaware, Kansas, Virginia, Utah, Kentucky, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Maryland.

“There are currently six national locations of KPot, with more opening in 2022,” their website reads. “We aim to bring the joy of KPot to as many people as possible to spread the love for barbeque and hot pot. Come for the food, stay for a good time!”

Hot pot, also known as “soup-food” or “steamboat,” is a communal pot of simmering broth stuffed with raw ingredients like meat and vegetables to cook in the pot. KPot marries traditional Asian hot pot with Korean BBQ flavors in dishes meant to be shared over conversation with your dinner mates. They also have a healthy list of cocktails.
