Confections Bakery & Cafe in Suwanee is expanding to Duluth.

According to a building permit application, the bakery’s second location will be at 3330 Satellite Boulevard in suite 2.

A photo recently posted on the Confections Instagram page shows the under-construction space, with marble walls and some indoor signage installed.

The original Confections store in Suwanee is located at 8020 McGinnis Ferry Road, in a spacious location with lots of seating. The bakery serves sweet treats and specialty coffee drinks, as well as lunch items like sandwiches and soup. It has been open since fall 2020.

According to the building permit application, the new Duluth location is 3,660 square feet. The property was formerly occupied by Shulie’s Cafe & Bakery.

Owner Junghyun Sung could not be immediately reached for comment.
