The nearly 3,500-square-foot space is located at Dunwoody Village, next to the Italian restaurant Carbonara Trattoria.

The gym will hopefully open this September, said Brent Macon, who is bringing three units of the concept to metro Atlanta. Locations are also planned for Midtown and Marietta/West Cobb.

The Little Gym first opened in 1976 in Bellevue, Washington, and now has nearly 400 locations worldwide. The franchise offers a range of gymnastics programs and classes for children as young as four months up to 12 years to promote movement, learning and socialization. The Little Gym also hosts events and is available for birthday parties.

The Little Gym is owned by Unleashed Brands.
