PreView, a new upscale restaurant, will soon open in Buckhead, as confirmed by its CEO Michael Efuetlaeh. The roughly 2,000 square-foot space at 2221 Peachtree Rd NE is finishing up licensing and expects to open in the next month or so.
On Tuesday, the City of Atlanta License Review Board recommended that it approve an alcohol license for PreView. Efuetlaeh is currently interviewing chefs, though he is still on the look-out for someone who can bring his menu to life.
“We want to have a diverse menu to have not just American, but also Mediterranean, maybe some Caribbean, even African [food],” said Efuetlaeh. “It’s going to add a diverse crowd without sticking to a specific cuisine.”
Efuetlaeh said that eventually they would like to expand to a bigger space; it all depends on how things work out with this first location in Buckhead.
The move to Peachtree was intentional. “This is the heart of Atlanta,” said Efuetlaeh. “Buckhead doesn’t have a lot of options, so I think people in the area will appreciate to have another one.”
Customers will have the opportunity to make reservations online through their website or order to-go through food delivery apps.
