As reported by What Now Atlanta (WNA), this location was first announced in June 2019.
Starting as Atlanta’s “first” food truck, Yumbii was founded by Carson Young in 2010, making its name on “a unique blend of Asian and Mexican flavors,” its website states. Yumbii opened its first brick-and-mortar location on Peachtree Road in 2017.
Three years later, the growing brand is expanding to a bigger location with a 700-square-foot patio and a more expansive menu available for takeout, dining, or delivery. The space, designed by Lindsay Denman (whose portfolio includes gusto!), is meant to evoke a “West Coast-cool aesthetic,” the press release reports.
With two brick-and-mortars and more on the way, Yumbii’s taco trucks are still in operation.
WNA has reached out to Young for comment.
