Bharvi Patel and her parents now own the fast-casual pizza joint, located at The George apartment building at 275 Memorial Drive SE. The family also owns the Your Pie in Hapeville, Patel said in a phone interview on Monday.

Patel said that the Grant Park restaurant shut down around March of this year. The family has been updating the interior and expects to reopen in the next month.

“We are hoping we can change the experience of the pizza — the original Your Pie way, bring it back,” Patel said.

“We want to do a lot for the community,” she added. “We are thinking spirit nights, fundraisers … everything that we can do to give back to Grant Park and the surrounding communities.”

Founded in 2008 by Drew French in Athens, Ga., Your Pie is a franchise chain that offers customizable pizza pies, along with pastas, salads and paninis.

The Grant Park location originally opened in late 2017 with franchisees Morgan and Lisa Maclellan, as What Now Atlanta previously reported

  1. We are excited to see Your Pie reopen! When Morgan and Lisa sold the franchise in 2020, things went downhill quickly. The new owners weren’t interested in engaging with the community and the food and service were awful. Sounds like the new owners are on the right track! We’ll be visiting soon and hope trivia night makes a comeback!
