Paces Properties has inked a deal with former Ford Fry and Wrecking Bar employees to open a new restaurant concept in the Krog Street Market developer’s East Atlanta Village property.
The yet-to-be-named concept will open in the former My Sister’s Room space at the corner of Glenwood and Gresham, according to a press release Friday. My Sister’s Room has since relocated to Midtown.
The more than 2,000-square-foot restaurant will feature a 27-foot bar in the dining room as well as a 1,000-square-foot outdoor patio.
Peter Chvala (Partner/General Manager), Nolan Wynn (Partner/Executive Chef), Katie McDonald (Partner/Bar Manager), and Faielle Stocco (Partner/Bar Manager) are behind the concept.
“One of the most exciting things about the project is its location in East Atlanta Village,” Chvala said in the release.
“We have been long time patrons of the neighborhood and look forward to being a part of this growing community”
New American fare featuring hand-cut pasta will be served under the direction of Chef Wynn.
“Our main goal is to deliver thoughtful ingredients and service, but present them in a very comfortable and approachable way,” Wynn said.
“The idea is to bring something new to East Atlanta while staying true to its culture.”
The bar will offer both classic and house cocktails as well as a curated collection of beer and wine.
The team has secured design firms Decarlo Hawker Architecture and Design and Elizabeth Ingram Design to spearhead the look and feel of the space.
The atmosphere and design will draw from the turn-of-the-century bungalows found throughout East Atlanta.
When completed, the restaurant will be open Tuesday through Saturday for dinner and Sunday for brunch. Late night snacks and beverages will also be available.
