Haraz Coffee House is planned for Midtown at 930 Spring Street NW, according to a building permit application with the City of Atlanta. The shop would be about 2,000 square feet and include a 600-square-foot patio. It appears that the coffee shop would be a ground-floor commercial tenant at the University House Midtown residential tower.

“We’re beyond excited to bring the rich traditions of Yemeni coffee to the heart of the city,” ownership for the upcoming location said in an Instagram post. “Get ready for a cozy space where you can gather, connect, and savor the finest cup of coffee you’ve ever had.”

Hamzah Nasser opened the first Haraz Coffee House in 2021 with “a vision to showcase the rich heritage of Yemeni coffee on a global scale,” according to the company website.

The concept currently has 17 locations, with 128 new ones in development across the U.S. and the Middle East. The menu includes baked goods, fruity refreshers and specialty coffee beverages like the signature pistachio latte.

Midtown Haraz LLC was created in June 2024, according to a filing with the Georgia Secretary of State’s office.
