The restaurant will occupy the space where Here To Serve’s Coast restaurant was located, at 111 West Paces Ferry Rd, an entirely different locale than the one of Anthony’s former Yebo in Phipps Plaza.
The entirely new concept/”revamped” spinoff will fuse traditional South African and American flavors.
On the menu, expect fresh dishes such as shrimp peri-peri tacos, bunny chow sliders and tomato and watermelon bruschetta, alongside grilled swordfish sandwiches and boerewors meatballs.
Anthony and his team are also focusing on developing a sophisticated beverage program, similar to the one at the group’s Ponce City Market establishment Biltong Bar. Drinks will include distinctive cocktails, a refined wine selection and local brews.
The restauranteur wants the “sophisticated, coastal” atmosphere to be the “ideal destination for people to hang out, grab a drink and some bites with friends.”
The space will feature an outdoor patio, whitewashed walls, dark cherry wood-stained floors and driftwood décor elements with a “Hamptons-meets-California” flair.
Yebo Beach Haus will be open for dinner from 5 to 10 p.m. Sunday through Wednesday and 5 to 11 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, and will debut lunch hours “shortly thereafter.” Brunch will be served on Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
