Nostalgia Wine & Jazz Lounge is expected to open by fall 2025, Atlanta Business Chronicle reports. The exact address has not been made known, but it will be near Mercedes-Benz Stadium and State Farm Arena, according to the news outlet.
Nostalgia Wine & Jazz Lounge hails from Cincinnati, Ohio. Founder Tammie Scott opened the lounge in 2020, inspired by live music she experienced at intimate venues while living in Washington, D.C., as well as the musical culture of Cincinnati.
“The inspiration for Nostalgia blends that East Coast vibe and stories from my grandmother about fabulous times in Cincinnati’s often forgotten Cotton Club in the 1930s and 1940s that blended great jazz music and a wonderful spirit of community,” according to the website.
Scott studied at Ohio University and Howard University before going into athlete management. She now works at Barstool Sports doing brand strategy as her entrepreneurial endeavor continues to grow; Nostalgia Wine & Jazz Lounge is also planning a location in Columbus, Ohio, expected to open next year.
The lounge has 40 wines available by the glass or bottle, with a focus on highlighting minority and women winemakers and producers. It also offers curated flights, classic cocktails and charcuterie boards. Live traditional and contemporary jazz and soul music is featured several nights a week.
