The restaurant is slated open an December 3, 2013, according to the release.

“I chose the area for this type of food because I wanted to preserve, and enrich Atlanta’s Affluent Black History,” Brown said in the release.

Will’s Way Creole Kitchen will be a stand alone “short-order kitchen that serves traditional creole cuisine.”

Chef Brown’s cooking roots stem back to his upbringing in Opelousas, LA, where he learned how to prepare dishes such as gumbo, beignets, boudin balls, and shrimp creole.

Patrons of the “to-go kitchen” can also purchase Chef Brown’s own line of seasonings, rubs, and soup starters. Will’s Way will serve a full breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

  1. CONGRATS!!! to Chef Will. I met Chef Will at another restaurant. I must say that I have tasted Chef Will’s cooking on more than one occasion and it has always been top notch (Creole at its best). I guarantee you won’t be disappointed. I only hate that I missed the grand opening.
