The fast-casual restaurant, at 3580 Breckinridge Blvd., will open in March, although an exact first day has not yet been revealed. Kash’s grill concept will feature a “hybrid of soul food offerings,” including “staple” dishes — southern-inspired salads, broiled lamb chops, and southern fried chicken — as well as grilled and broiled vegetables and proteins along with vegan options.

“Our goal is to really provide an undeniable eating experience every time someone dines with us,” Kash said in the release. “We pride ourselves in ensuring we’re serving high quality and thoughtful, homemade dishes that provide a healthy, authentic take on soul food and look forward to bringing the ‘Who’s Got Soul’ experience to Duluth.”

The 2,600 square-foot space offers seating both indoors and outdoors. The counter-service restaurant’s mural-clad walls feature art by local artist Demont Pinder, depicting chef Kash’s hometown of Harlem NYC subway station. It is housed in the Breckinridge Plaza and will serve lunch and dinner Tuesday through Sunday.

Who’s Got Soul Southern Grill is a part of Henlil Food Service Group, Inc., which also includes Who’s Got Soul Mobile Gourmet food truck and Who’s Got Soul Southern Café with locations in Lawrenceville and Decatur.
