Which Wich, a fast-casual sandwich franchise, will open their first Metro Atlanta location at Atlantic Station.

Taking space at 265 18th street, the sandwich franchise will be located near stairwell five adjacent to Tin Drum restaurant under the Bodies and Dialogue in the Dark exhibits.

We spotted Jeff Sinelli — Which Wich founder — scouting space in Atlanta last month.

Sinelli told What Now Atlanta plans for multiple Atlanta locations were in the works between now and early to mid next year.

Which Wich is headquartered in Downtown Dallas, Texas and launched in 2003. The closest Which Wich is at 747 Virginia Avenue in Hapeville.

At Which Wich, customers place their orders by using custom red Sharpie pens to mark up pre-printed menus on sandwich bags while selecting from ten different categories of sandwiches divided up by principal protein source (typically meat).

Customers then check the type of bread, chooses cheese and additional ingredients, and finally indicates the desired spreads and sauces. Hand the bag to the sandwich artist and they make your sandwich. That’s right. No assembly line with the back and forth of adding one topping at a time.
