WeWork has signed a lease at Boundary, a three-building office campus located at the intersection of Peachtree at 17th.
Boundary, a rehabbed office development at 1389, 1401, and 1409 Peachtree Street NE, sits at the same intersection of an existing WeWork location (1372 Peachtree St NE.)
The company also has co-working space a few blocks south in Colony Square and plans to open a 20,000-square-foot facility in the Coda Tech Square project.
WeWork at Boundary will occupy three floors across 40,000 square feet of the 1389 building with room for more than 650 desks for WeWork members.
“We announced our plans for aggressive expansion in Atlanta last year, and now we are delivering,” Bobby Condon, WeWork Southeast General Manager, said in a press release Wednesday.
“We look forward to growing our footprint in Midtown with WeWork at the Boundary, yet another dynamic WeWork community either in walking distance or a short MARTA commute away from the others.”
The new location puts WeWork at 600,000 square feet of space in Atlanta.
“When WeWork considers new locations, we put our members at top of mind,” Condon said.
“If you look at our Atlanta presence, each WeWork boasts walkable amenities and convenient access to public transit, and WeWork at the Boundary is no exception. We look forward to providing Atlantans with more space and opportunity to create their life’s work at WeWork.”
WeWork at Boundary is slated to open summer 2020.
