Restaurant announced closure on its Facebook page.
Paleo-centric restaurant Urban pL8, at 1082 Huff Rd. NW, has closed its doors in West Midtown.
The restaurant that toped our list of the Five Atlanta Restaurants To Visit Before You Die, announced the closure in a Facebook post late Wednesday.
“Our lease is up and Urban pL8 officially closed,” according to the Facebook post.
“We are taking an exciting new direction, Betsy will be publishing all of her recipes soon enough. Stay tuned! Thanks again for everything!”
The restaurant updated its Facebook page Thursday with more information about the abrupt closure.
“Thanks for the well wishes over broken pl8. We are going to give away all of our recipes with full prep instructions – coming soon. We have to get over the shock then we will be back in action.”

After doing a little poking around, this whole situation seems a little sketchy. Caleb, I’ll be curious to see what other information you can find out about this sudden closing.
