Wellness Lifestyle Expert Tammy Stokes to Bring Cafe West Express to West Midtown

Soup and smoothie cafe to take up residence in former Yoforia location.

Cafe West Express is finalizing the build-out for its second standalone cafe set to open in the White Provision Development on the corner of 14th Street and Howell Mill in January 2020, consumer product vet David Pemberton confirmed with What Now Atlanta over the phone.

Permits for the West Midtown location, where Yoforia Frozen Yogurt once stood, detail $120,000 worth of construction to conclude the interior finish for the 1,530 square foot space.

Existing restrooms, power, HVAC and underground plumbing will remain, while countertops and electrical lines will be brand new.

The Westside cafe doubles a life-long dream of celebrity fitness coach, author and entrepreneur Tammy Stokes, who opened the first standalone in Buckhead’s Powers Ferry Square in 2017, and served Cafe West Express products in her West Coast Workout Studios off West Paces Ferry Road prior to that.

The new shop will feature the company’s nine varieties of high fiber, low sodium nutrient dense signature soups. Patrons will also be able to enjoy a familiar selection of salads, gluten free muffins, wraps, smoothies, wheat grass, enhanced waters and healthy dessert treats.

Stokes’ dream, she said in a press statement, is to bring healthy wholefoods within spoon’s reach of Atlanta.

“You will taste healthy deliciousness in every spoonful.”
