Warby Parker is planned for The Forum Peachtree Corners, according to a building permit application with Gwinnett County. The 1,772-square-foot store would be in suite 330, between Versona and J.Jill.
The brand has rapidly expanded its footprint in the area. Over the last year, Warby Parker has opened stores at The Avenue Peachtree City and The Avenue West Cobb. A store is also planned for the Mall of Georgia.
Warby Parker was founded in 2010. It originally began as an online-only brand but has since focused actively on growing the brick-and-mortar side of the business. There are more than 200 storefronts across the U.S. and Canada, including nine existing ones in the state of Georgia. (The upcoming locations in Peachtree Corners and at the Mall of Georgia would bring the total to 11.)
The brand sells sunglasses, regular seeing glasses, contact lenses and accessories. They also offer eye exams.
For every pair of glasses or sunglasses sold, a pair is given to someone in need through the Buy a Pair, Give a Pair program. According to the company, more than 15 million pairs of glasses have been distributed through the program.
Recent job postings indicate that the company is currently seeking a manager and optometrists for the upcoming Peachtree Corners store, expected to open in 2025.
