Socially conscious glasses brand plans to open Westside location.
Warby Parker, a socially conscious glasses brand, will open a store at 1198 Howell Mill Road in the Westside Provisions District, according to plans filed with the City of Atlanta this week.
The New York-based company was founded in 2010 by Neil Blumenthal, Andrew Hunt, Dave Gilboa, and Jeffrey Raider.
For each pair of glasses sold, Warby Parker distributes a pair to someone in need by working with non-profit partners like VisionSpring.
The Westside Provisions store will be the brand’s second Atlanta location. Warby Parker also has an outpost in Buckhead in addition to 14 other stores across the United States.
Renovations on the 1,156-square-foot Westside space will cost an estimated $65,000 ahead of move in.
Co-founder Dave Gilboa was not immediately available for comment.
