Village Burger has signed a lease for 9550 Main St. in Woodstock, according to co-owner Matthew Gephardt.
The restaurant will take 2,800 square feet, with the goal to open in the first quarter of 2023.
“We have been looking to expand to Woodstock for some time,” Gephardt said in an email. “Woodstock is a vibrant and growing city that has similar characteristics to the other places we currently operate. We look forward to a long and successful future in Woodstock, and we can’t wait to introduce ourselves to the community!”
Gephardt said the new Woodstock location will have the traditional look and feel of Village Burger, offering a family-friendly atmosphere with food at fair prices.
“We have recently introduced chicken wings to our menus and plan to offer them in Woodstock in addition to our other delicious menu items, such as made-from-scratch burgers, hot dogs, hand-cut fries and hand-breaded onion rings,” he said.
Village Burger first opened in Dunwoody in 2010. It has since expanded to Johns Creek, Tucker, Cumming and Lawrenceville.
“We continue to look for other communities in the Atlanta area, like Woodstock, that would be a good fit for Village Burger,” Gephardt said.
