Bamee Tee, a fun-food spot, serving Vietnamese sandwiches, including authentic bánh mì, is opening at 4897 Buford Hwy NE, Unit 162. Smoothies and Vietnamese snacks will be on the menu, too. “Our atmosphere is an ideal hang-out spot for people of all ages and ethnicities, and the Chamblee location is in the heart of Atlanta’s Asian food scene,” Tran said.
Ideally located in a busy retail center, Bamee Tee’s business neighbors include well-known Pho Bac, Hoa Binh Supermarket, and J’s Mini Hot Pot Deluxe. It’s all about location, and with Food Terminal and the bustling City Farmers Market nearby, it’s an optimal spot for a new Asian restaurant.
“With an eye on franchising in the future, we aim to create not just a regular Vietnamese sandwich shop, but a unique Vietnamese eating experience that is welcoming, enjoyable, and affordable to everyone from all walks of life,” Tran said. “Our bánh mì will be served with beef, grilled pork, grilled chicken, or selections of protein. Our tea options are oolong, jasmine, pennywort, sugarcane, and winter melon. The toppings are bubbles and jelly.”
At the moment, Tran is finalizing the menu, and gearing up for the opening day. For customers who prefer to order online, they can simply click the SKIPLI link on Bamee Tee’s website, and place an order.
The second location will be next to Com Ga Houston in Duluth, at 3350 Steve Reynolds Blvd Suite 303, but “we haven’t determined the opening date yet,” said Tran.
