Verde Taqueria is planning to open in Peachtree Hills at 10 Kings Circle NE. The space was formerly occupied by J. Christopher’s. Tomorrow’s News Today first reported the news.

Owner Patrick Kenny confirmed the plans and told What Now Atlanta they expect to be open in January.

Located in Brookhaven at 1426 Dresden Drive, Verde Taqueria serves a variety of unique tacos, like sweet chili shrimp, smoked brisket, bacon cheeseburger and buffalo tofu, along with classic renditions like ground beef and carne asada. The menu also includes margaritas, quesadillas, salads, bowls and appetizers like chips and queso.

Verde Taqueria used to have a location in Underwood Hills on Collier Road before closing in 2020, as well as a Sandy Springs outpost on Roswell Road that closed in 2018.

  1. I just threw up in my mouth a bit. J. Christopher varies in quality between bad and disgusting. I hope when they fail something good and local goes in.

  2. I live in Peachtree Hills and there is absolutely NOT enough parking at this location for the type of weekend brunch business this place does. They better be shuttling people in or they are going to get a rude awakening from neighbors!
