Dianna King founded her vegan cheese business, Dianna’s Foods, last year, and has since been selling subscriptions and jarred cheeses online and at the Peachtree Road Farmers Market. Now, it looks like she’s about to set up shop at Irwin Street Market to start selling her vegan, nut-free cheese IRL.

King filed for permits at 660 Irwin Street, the home of Irwin Street Market and the Irwin Street Community Kitchens — a “special foods small business incubator” where vendors can do meal prep, baking, bottling and jarring.

Irwin Street Market is also home to Aah La Mode, Academy CoffeeThe Cooking School at Irwin Street, Delilah-On-Sampson, Flower Bar, Jake’s Good Foods, Jake’s Ice Creams and Sorbets, and Squoze.

The idea behind King’s vegan recipes is to “make the dinner table more inclusive,” and the plant-based business serves as an outlet for King to share her knowledge with anyone interested in transitioning to a vegan or plant-based diet. King was not immediately available for comment, and we don’t know yet when she plans to move into the space. But we’ll try anything with a “cheese” label, so sign us up for a jar, or ten.
