Maurice Lee, owner of Charlotte-based Urbana Wellness Spa, will open a location at 3035 Peachtree Road in Buckhead.

“Buckhead Atlanta is the perfect fit for Urbana’s second location because we are targeting a high-end clientele,” Lee told What Now Atlanta (WNA) in a telephone conversation Tuesday.

The owner has always been interested in the wellness movement, but he originally didn’t think it would amount to more than a hobby.

“My background before Urbana was in education working for four different colleges, but when the opportunity to own a wellness spa came up it was too good pass up, just like this opportunity in Buckhead.”

Urbana Wellness Spa features a wide range of services including a tea bar, health products, gifts, and spa and massage services, according to its website. The Atlanta location will also include a nail salon and yoga studio.

Renovations on the 4,905-square-foot space will cost an estimated $500,000, with a planned opening in March 2016.
