Cuevacía is planned for a ground-floor space fronting Peachtree Street at the development in Midtown. The restaurant is described as a “sophisticated, authentic Mexican restaurant with traditional Oaxacan and Northern Mexico influences.”
In addition to Mexican cuisine, diners can expect craft cocktails, Central and South American wines, and a range of mezcals and tequilas. As for design, the space will feature candlelit stone hallways and grotto-style booths.
Cuevacía comes from William Pitts, the owner of another Colony Square tenant, Saints + Council. The modern American restaurant opened in 2021.
Cuevacía is expected to open at Colony Square this fall. Follow on Instagram @cuevacia for updates.
Colony Square is a mixed-use destination consisting of retail businesses, office space and dining options, including a Politan Row food hall. Cuevacía will join existing Colony Square restaurants Boqueria, Sweetgreen, Serena Pastificio, Rumi’s Kitchen and more.
