The Ford Fry “Mex-Tex” restaurant aims to open June 13, according to a Craigslist want ad. In April, a similar job post appeared which announced that the eatery would open May 23, so it’s possible that the current projected opening date may also change slightly.

Superica will be situated in the Buckhead Court shopping center at 3850 Roswell Road in a converted Outback Steakhouse, as WNA first reported in May of last year.

Last year, Fry told the Charleston Post and Courier that he plans to expand the Superica concept across the Southeast. Possible markets for expansion include but are not limited to Nashville, Charleston and Houston.

Fry is the restauranteur behind JCT. Kitchen, No. 246, The Optimist, King + Duke, St. Cecilia, Marcel Steakhouse, and The El Felix, opened the original Superica in Inman Park’s Krog Street Market in early 2015.
