Founded by 27-year-old Yogi Patel, an Uncle Maddio’s Pizza Joint and Tin Drum Asiacafe’ franchisee, and his business partner 31-year-old Imtiaz Ramzan, Bezoria will offer all house-made menu items like pitas, wheat laffa bread, rice, hummus or salad, topped with a variety of proteins including vegan and gluten-free Falafal, gluten-free Chicken Shawarma, Steak Shawarma, or Chicken Kefta, and toppings like Cabbage Slaw Mix, Tomato & Cucumber Salad, Sumac Onions, or Pickles.

“I have dreamed of starting my own restaurant concept for years,” Patel said in the release.

“After the valuable experience of being a franchisee, now is finally the time for me to start my own restaurant concept. I wanted to start something that is beyond the current food choice in Atlanta and offer healthy food that my generation and so many others now expect when dining out.”

In addition to the build-your-own options, the menu will also feature five signature house built menu items.

The restaurant design, like a Chipotle or Subway, is an open kitchen where guests watch their food being prepared and request the exact ingredients as their order is being made. The new restaurant will have 45 indoor seats, over 35 patio seats, and over 50 common patio seats.

“The management team has invested in state-of-the-art innovative technology such as robotics for the shawarma and falafel to make for product consistency and quality, allowing team members to focus on the guests and offering superior customer service,” according to the release.

The Midtown Bezoria is the first of three planned to open within the next 18 months, with more restaurants to follow, all in the Atlanta area. Bezoria touts itself as “the first build-your-own premium fast casual concept in the Southeast to offer all house-made Mediterranean food.”

Bezoria will be open for lunch and dinner, seven days a week, Monday through Sunday 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.

  1. I like the concept and am eager to try it. Some advice: Stay open later than 9. Serve booze. Have a bar area – Midtown is full of singles, many whom would prefer to dine and drink at a bar seat than sitting alone at a table. Also, take singles into consideration with promotions and coupons. The kids eat free and BOGO stuff tends to not work for singles.
