The cafe is slated to open next door to Tin Lizzy’s Cantina, at 415 Memorial Drive.

“We will let you know as soon as we have finalized an opening date,” Java Cat Cafe posted on Facebook Friday. “Stay tuned.”

Customers can expect to pay a fee to enter the “cat lounge” which would include a cup of specialty coffee plus one hour with the cats.

The lounge would be separate from the cafe in compliance with health regulations.

Java Cat Cafe has partnered with PAWS Atlanta to provide all adoptable cats for the establishment.
