The project was slated to open in March 2017.

The Kinjo brothers are known for their other restaurants MF Sushi, MF Bar and District III, and Anh’s Kitchen builds on the duo’s previous Vietnamese concept, Nam.

“Nam is the only vietnamese restaurant with a [sic] five stars in Atlanta,” the Kinjo Brothers in June 2016 posted to the Nam Restaurant Facebook page. “And I’m bring it back after 15 years. I will take Nam to another level, I can’t wait.”

The Facebook page has since been repurposed for Anh’s Kitchen.

Anh’s Kitchen offers a large menu of upscale, modern Vietnamese dishes, including a variety of spring rolls, salads, pho, banh mi, entrees built on rice or vermicelli noodles and large, family-style clay pot dishes. In addition to its dine-in menu, customers can place take-out and delivery orders online and by phone.

The new restaurant already offers weekly menu specials, including:

  • Monday: mini shrimp cakes (banh khot)
  • Tuesday: steamed rice rolls (banh cuon)
  • Wednesday: Anh’s hot pot
  • Thursday: steamed rice cakes (banh beo)
  • Friday: crispy sizzling crepes (banh xeo)

Though Anh’s Kitchen is upscale in many ways, most menu items are priced in the range of $8-$15. See the menu here.

Correction: An earlier version of this story erroneously stated Alex Kinjo is the owner of Anh’s Kitchen. Kinjo designed Anh’s Kitchen Midtown but is not an owner or partner in the restaurant.

  1. This guys went bankrupt and now back.,wow. The American way, don’t pay your bills and then reopen. Not impressed with their sushi in IP since they reopened. They were rude to people with children at the old Midtown l

  2. We went they have a lot of work to do, they need to take notes from Vietnamese restaurants on Buford hwy, their Pho was lacking taste, their broth was fatty they give you basically ho veggies to go with it and not condiments. Will not be back. I rather go to Pho King around the corner when I need a fix if I don’t want to drive to Buford Hwy.
