Touchdown Wings Founder Jay Yang is looking to score with an all-new restaurant concept in the same field: Wings & Sport Grill.
Joining nearly 20 outposts of Touchdown Wings across the state of Georgia, Wings & Sport Grill will be the first, and possibly only location for the new brand, Yang told What Now Atlanta in a telephone conversation Tuesday. Yang grew the Touchdown Wings brand across the state through franchising.
Wings & Sport Grill will open in Grayson later this year, at 1911 Grayson Hwy Ste 18, in three to four months, according to Yang. Permits for the eatery were filed in Gwinnett County in April for the new restaurant which replaces a Shane’s Rib Shack, the plans outline.
“Populations, the economy, and jobs, are growing so fast in Grayson,” Yang said on choosing the location. Although Wings & Sport Grill will be designed to offer to-go, Yang hopes that draught beer will encourage sport-lovers to hangout and watch the big game.
