Over the past three decades, The Cook’s Warehouse has grown to become a premier source for cookware, culinary classes, and demonstrations in Atlanta.

Speaking about the journey she has had with her Business, Moore said, “I started out wanting to sell great tools and teach customers how to cook to bring people together around the table, and even after 30 years, that mission has not changed.”She went on to say, “Our goal is to ensure every customer leaves happier than when they came through the door and help them share that happiness with others through cooking. It’s simple, but it’s fulfilling. It’s been a very soulful journey.”

Moore started her journey as a professional chef before she started this business that has reached its 30-year mark. She is inspired by the community she built and the enthusiasm and energy of her team. Moore has been the recipient of many prestigious awards and recognitions as well as has been placed at several important Leadership roles as well.

The Cook’s Warehouse has the 6,500-square-foot flagship store at Ansley Mall, where aspiring cooks to professional chefs can find more than 15,000 products and a state-of-the-art teaching kitchen. The store also hosts 350 plus cooking demonstrations and hands-on classes annually, along with customized private events. Besides the retail store, the store also has a thriving e-commerce business and operations.

It makes her proud to have had shoppers who were with them since the beginning, whose children and grandchildren are now learning to cook with them. She loves to hear her customers tell her that her team knows how to help them choose the right kitchen tools and create their meals, she said. It feels good to be part of a big community and providing a solution to people looking for fun in their lives, she says.

Moore and The Cook’s Warehouse were the first to bring many of the incredible international brands to their customers. Cut to the present day, they still offer the brands that have since become household names.

An example of this would be that they were the first retailers in the United States to sell Jura coffee machines and Shun knives. As the gears have evolved, they still sell many of the same acclaimed brands like Le Creuset, Wüsthof and All-Clad, that they have always had.

The store is always on the search for the latest and greatest tools and gadgets as well. Having come a long way, much larger tabletop and barware assortment is being sold at the store nowadays. Spreading their reach across the country, they also offer an online inventory that is constantly growing.

Moore’s handed over the daily management of The Cook’s Warehouse to her Management Team in November 2020. Over the years since, there has been incredible growth in retail sales and the cooking school. They also returned to the in-person classes, parties, and corporate team-building events in the past few years.

The Cook’s Warehouse will be able to connect with the community in a new way through the new pedestrian bridge of the Atlanta Beltline’s Northeast Trail, which also excites her.

Moore has been seeing that her customers’ passion for food and cooking is continuously growing and is enjoying that the store is meeting their needs. The storefront will undergo renovations and also offer grab-and-go items, meeting the demands of their customers.
