Atlanta Magazine reported that Nick’s Westside owner Nick Leahy and Dash Hospitality founder David Abes will debut The Usual on the ground level of the Arya apartment building at 1777 Peachtree Street NE in Brookwood Hills this fall.
The new 3,500-square-foot tavern will be comprised of a main dining room and bar with about 50 seats and a 30-seat patio. The Usual will boast multicolored tile on the bar, wood, pendant lights, and a mural of Arya Stark from “Game of Thrones.” The restaurant will also feature a 14-seat private event space and a small bodega where residents of the apartment building will be able to purchase gourmet items to go.
The Usual will offer a menu that includes appetizers, salads, sandwiches, and entrees like cacio e pepe tater tots, smoked chicken wings, curry roasted squash, and a Korean fried chicken sandwich. The beverage program will feature classic cocktails, wines, and a variety of local and regional beers. Although the new restaurant will launch serving dinner only, there are plans to add brunch and lunch in the future.
The Usual is slated to debut on November 1st and will be open from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. on weekdays and 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. on weekends.
