Salad bar and grill to replace ChocoLaté Coffee.
Local salad bar and grill Salad Express has filed a building permit application with the City of Atlanta to replace the ChocoLaté Coffee location at 1159 Lavista Road (in The Reserve at La Vista Walk, near the intersection of Lavista and Cheshire Bridge).
ChocoLaté has two remaining locations, on Shallowford Road and N. Decatur Road.
According to a manager at Salad Express, the $30,000 renovation is scheduled to complete this summer and will make this the third outpost of the “gourmet salad bar and grill.”
Other locations are in Peachtree City and Newnan. The restaurant’s menu and catering includes signature and create-your-own salads, as well as wraps, soups, and baked potatoes.
