The holiday season is winding up and New Year 2025 is here. What better way to step into the New Year than fitness? Atlanta Freakin’ Freezin’ 5K race is here to boost the energy levels and give a fresh kickstart. All the runners of Atlanta have the awesome opportunity to take part in their first 5K of the year. Freakin’ Freezin’ is an awesome way to burn those extra holiday calories. The event is taking place on Saturday, January 4, 2025.

Where and When?
Organized by Five Star NTP, the Freakin’ Freezin’ 5K event will be held at the Monroe, just opposite the Bobby Jones Golf Course. The race will commence at 9:00 AM EST on Saturday, January 4. The check-in window for the event will be open from 8:00 AM.
The track for the race will be pretty flat. The fast course is beautiful, with Fulton County in the background.
Who Can Participate?
Freakin’ Freezin’ 5K Race is open to everyone. Whether it be for those looking to have some fun with friends and family or seasoned runners testing their times, the run is perfect.
Registration Dates and Ticket Prices
The online regular registration window for the in-person race was closed on December 29.
The race week registrations are now open. The ticket price for the 5K race, inclusive of the T-shirt will be $37.5. The No Swag ticket, which omits the t-shirt, will cost $32.5.
Those who are signing up for the first time will also have to pay an extra $5.10 as the SignUp Fee. The race week window will be closed at 11:59 PM on January 3.
Participants will still be able to register on the race day. The ticket price for the 5K with the T-shirt will be $40. If you choose to skip the T-shirt, the 5K-No Swag ticker is $35. The additional $5.10 SignUp Fee will be applicable as well.
For those who are signing up as groups, discounts are given. For a group with 5 to 10 members, a discount of $2.50 per registrant will be given. If there are 11 to 20 participants in the group, a $3.75 Discount per registrant will be applicable. Groups with more than 21 participants will get a $5.00 Discount for each member.
Point to note, registrations will be final, and there is no option for refunds, deferments, or transfers.
Attending the Event Virtually
Those who won’t be able to make it had the choice to attend the event virtually wherever they are. Participants only had to submit their times online. However, the registration for the virtual event has been closed on December 29.
Virtual participants have the option to do the run by themselves or with a group. Discounts for the Ticket prices were given for larger groups.
They can run anywhere – at a park, on the sidewalk of the road, anywhere! Once done, all they need to do is share the distance, a selfie, or a picture along your race route. Do use the hashtags – “#FreakinFreezin5K”, “#fivestarntp,” and “#fivestarrunning”.
Then submit the results on the link provided on the website. The final race results will be updated on the official website after the race on the event day.
Awards That Will Be Given After the Race
The award ceremony of the Freakin’ Freezin’ 5K Race will be conducted at 10 AM on January 4. Awards will be given to the top 3 male and female participants to Overalls, Masters, Grand Masters, Senior Masters, and the 5-year Age Groups.
How to Volunteer for the Event?
The event has 90 spots for volunteers open and those interested can register now. Volunteers will be given a $50 Visa Gift Card.
In the icy morning air of January, get to the starting line and have an invigorating run with fellow runners. Freakin’ Freezin’ 5K Run 2025 is a charity event, and this year’s beneficiary will be the MS Center of Atlanta.
