Zero Mile Presents and AEG Presents, LLC are moving forward with The Eastern in the Atlanta Dairies development.
Plans were recently submitted to the City of Atlanta for site work and land development for the 2,200 capacity music venue in Reynoldstown.
The Eastern will anchor the Paces Properties project, adjacent the Atlanta Beltline, at 777 Memorial Drive SE.
It will “break ground soon,” according to a press release earlier this year.
News of The Eastern moving forward arrives on the heels of Dairies Coffeehouse & Cold Brew Bar—Atlanta Dairies’ first tenant—opening its doors last month.
Dairies Coffeehouse is from Thrive Farmers.
“We listened to the voice of those we’re serving to create an innovative gathering place that blends clean, hand-crafted cuisine with high-quality coffee, cold-brew, premium loose-leaf teas and more; items that don’t usually coexist,” Michael Jones, the founder of Dairies Coffeehouse, said in a press release in April.
“We think it’s time to redefine the coffeehouse experience, from the level of service and creative menu items we offer to the design of our space and impact-driven business model.”
The next set of tenants to open at Atlanta Dairies will have rolling openings beginning late summer 2019.
Previously announced tenants include Wonderkid, a diner concept created by King of Pops and Big Citizen (the guys behind The Lawrence, Bon Ton, and Miracle Atlanta), Three Taverns Imaginarium, and Collier’s from the team behind The Merchant, Archer Paper Co., Read Shop and Collier Candy Company.
More restaurants and retailers are expected to be announced in the coming months.
