High-end appliance retailer’s fourth location slated for Merchant’s Walk

The Cook’s Warehouse announced plans to open their fourth location outside of the perimeter this summer, in a press release Wednesday.

The high-end appliance retailer will open in East Cobb on Johnson Ferry Road in a 4,800-square-foot space at the Merchant’s Walk Development, directly next door to Whole Foods.

This is the first location to open outside of the perimeter joining three existing locations — Decatur, Brookhaven and Midtown — in retailing high-end appliances and conducting private cooking classes.

Mary Moore, owner and founder of The Cook’s Warehouse, feels the Atlanta suburb location was the obvious next step for catering to more Atlantans.

“For years, our customer base has driven into the city to shop for cookware, kitchen accessories and appliances and especially to learn in our cooking school,” Moore said.

The entire project will be built to LEED standards (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design), according to Moore.

  2. Personally, I love Cooks Warehouse and welcome them to the East Cobb community. The word is that this Cooks location will share a wall with Whole Foods. I look forward to going to both!
