The Brass Tap will launch a new location in Hapeville, slated to open in early 2022. For more than 10 years, the Tampa-based craft beer bar and entertainment venue, known for its extensive localized brewery offerings, has expanded to nearly 50 bars in 16 states.

Franchise owner Shamir Rodriguez will bring the second location of The Brass Tap to the greater Atlanta area, settling in at 925 Virginia Avenue.

Rodriguez is excited to join Atlanta’s craft beer interconnected community, which is more interested in “elevating, growing and coming together” rather than competing. With experience in construction, the hospitality industry, and the bar and nightclub industry, the local franchise owner gravitated towards The Brass Tap because the craft beer bar helps franchisees with structure while giving them a lot of freedom to express themselves.

Rodriguez told What Now Atlanta that he aims to make The Brass Tap in Hapeville a place to hang out with friends and hopes to have an arcade. The venue will span just under 3,300 square feet with a total of approximately 136 seats indoors and outdoors.

The Brass Tap will be decked out with 60 taps of local craft beer, a full bar for handcrafted cocktails, and a kitchen serving up tantalizing dishes to be paired with drinks.

While The Brass Tap in Hapeville is currently in the construction phase, the festive pub will open its beers to the public in January 2022. We’ll drink to that.

Be sure to follow The Brass Tap on Instagram for updates on its grand opening.
