There are several authentic Korean dishes offered at Bite of Korea including the signature and best-selling Bulgogi quesadillas, Bibimbap, Japchae (Korean glass noodles), and Pork Belly Tacos with Kimchi Slaws.
They offer everything from street food, to fusion, to traditional dishes, including Lee’s own kimchi made in-house. “Customers can enjoy soju and Makgeolli rice wine and even cocktails with friends and family,” says owner Gavin Lee.
“My wife and I are from South Korea and we are excited to bring South Korean cuisine to the community of Tucker,” Lee says. “We offer a selection for everyone from young to elderly, all generations.”
The Bite of Korea or (The BOK) – which means ‘fortune’ in Korean, wants to bring good vibes to Tucker. Lee says their mission is “to bring good fortune to our customers by making them satisfied with our great food and great service.”
From humble beginnings as a cafeteria in an office building to a first brick-and-mortar location, The Bite of Korea is proud of its humble beginnings.
“We began in an office building, then we did pop-ups and food festivals. We currently host a pop-up at A Mano Italian restaurant on Sundays, located at 587 Ralph McGill Blvd NE, Atlanta. We are excited to be a part of this up-and-coming area. When we heard the other businesses that were coming here, we knew it was a good opportunity,” Lee told What Now Atlanta.
Bite of Korea focuses on bringing quality food and excellent service to Tucker.
