That Burger Spot, the local grillers with four locations around the greater Atlanta area, is set to open two more outposts through April, beginning with an opening in a couple of weeks at 3781 Presidential Pkwy, followed by another at 45 Moreland Ave SE later this spring, according to owner Jamela Ramjohn.

While the Presidential Pkwy location will be corporate-owned, Moreland Ave will be helmed by franchise duo Sydnee Heidt and Resha Ricks, who also oversee operations at That Burger Spot’s first location in Riverdale.
The team is “ecstatic about the upcoming opening of their second location with THAT Burger Spot!” Heidt tells What Now Atlanta, adding that they “believe the food the brand provides is ‘feel good food’ and that they will grow to be a staple in the Atlanta area.”
Having recently hit their one-year anniversary in Riverdale, Heidt and Ricks say they can’t “believe how fast things have began to align,” and “expressed humility, diligence, and hard work as their everyday motto!”
Founded in 2017, That Burger Spot sought to be a “cool, laid back, friendly place where [the community] can grab quality burgers, fries, [and] drinks for a moderate price.”
Perhaps equally as important, however, was the highly curated, music-driven atmosphere that Ramjohn and the company’s franchisees cultivate. As is detailed on its Facebook page, “When customers enter That Burger Joint they are met immediately with the hypnotic rhythms of both old and new school Funk, Hip Hop, and R&B. The objective: take these two feel-good activities (dining and music) and merge them to create a uniquely cultured and memorable dining experience.”
With all of its locations currently operating on the city’s southside, Ramjohn says of the expansion, “We’re excited to be there, we’re excited to branch into new territories, and they just better get ready for us, cause they’re going to have the best burger in their life.”
