Wonder if they’ll keep the kitchen…
The Westye Group Southeast Inc. will open their second Georgia kitchen appliance showroom in Buckhead.
Located at 3280 Peachtree Road, the showroom will take suite 200, formerly Aquaknox restaurant, which closed in January, 2010.
The space will be transformed into a demonstration showroom for the company’s high-end appliances, which includes Wolf Cooking Supplies and Sub Zero Refrigerators and is scheduled to open mid to late October.
Their Duluth showroom, located at 1700 Executive Drive South, is, to an extent, what the Buckhead location will look like: live demonstration kitchen, wine storage, billiard room, an outdoor barbeque area, and a culinary center.
On one side of the culinary center, an interactive cooking demonstration area houses eight individual stations, each equipped with an electric cooktop, wall oven, refrigerator drawers and prep sink.
The other side houses a chef demonstration area that seats 25 people. Two big screen TV monitors assist in viewing the chefs’ food preparation. Tables and chairs lining the circumference of the culinary center make it comfortable for guests to enjoy the gourmet creations.
So what does this say about the future of dining out?
