Ten Apart, the Atlanta-based hospitality team behind The Mercury, The Pinewood, and Proof Cocktail Syrups at 5 p.m. Wednesday, November 22 will debut its two new concepts Bar Americano and Bar Crema.
The restaurant and coffee bar respectively replace the old Prohibition space at the former East Andrews Entertainment district in Buckhead.
Bar Americano will kick off with dinner service and a menu offering “reinvented” Italian classics from Antipasti and Insalate to Pizza, Pasta and a selection of main dishes including Eggplant Parmesan, Steak Florentine and Swordfish with clams, mussels and spicy seafood broth.
Lunch service will launch in a few weeks, introducing sandwiches such as the Meatball Sub, Marinated Tuna, and Prosciutto with arugula and fig mustard.
Paying homage to the tradition of Italian aperitivos, Beverage Director Julian Goglia will focus the bar program on premium spirits and house-made ingredients with an emphasis on aperitifs, Americanos, and other classic cocktails.
Bar Crema will offer an “elevated” espresso and coffee program, cocktails and gelato.
Other offerings include a selection of fine meats and cheeses, white bean hummus and other bar snacks, and take-away items such as desserts, pastries, and thoughtfully prepared sandwiches.
Brooks Cloud, Julian Goglia, and chef Mike Blydenstein make up the Ten Apart team. The group late-October opened Deep End in the Old Fourth Ward, replacing 4th and Swift.
