Ted’s Montana Grill Debuts Oct. 26 In Westside Village

Bison burger and steak chain is looking to hire 40 locals between now and Oct. 16 for the incoming Upper Westside eatery.

Ted’s Montana Grill will open in the Westside Village on October 26, a company spokesperson tells What Now Atlanta (WNA). Ahead of its debut late next month, at 2250 Marietta Blvd NW #210, the bison burger and steak restaurant chain is looking to fill 40 positions to build its team there. The company is seeking bartenders, servers, kitchen team members, and “server assistants” (hosts). Applications, which can be submitted online, are being collected through October 16.

Earlier this year Ted’s Montana Grill closed two of its local restaurants—Cumberland Mall and in Decatur. “Both of these restaurants were decent performers for us but as we neared the end of each location’s short-term lease, it didn’t make savvy business sense to keep either open with the strict capacity and social distancing guidelines,” George McKerrow, the company’s CEO, told WNA at the time.

Scott Andreen is the location’s proprietor (general manager). The new Westside Village restaurant was originally slated to open on August 10, McKerrow said. It’s unclear what caused the multi-month delay.

In Westside Village, Ted’s Montana Grill joins a growing list of restaurants and retailers in the new mixed-use development including Marlow’s Tavern, Yonder Yoga, and Clean Juice.
