The Raleigh-based french-fry concept is continuing to grow in Atlanta.
The South African restaurant had been in business for 25 years.
The Mexican eatery opened last year in the Summerhill neighborhood.
The new concept is going into the former Garnet Gal’s Coffee Shop and Bakery space, just steps away from Toast on Lenox.
The establishment is now under new ownership as Belly Restaurant and Lounge.
The restaurant will be taking over the space formerly occupied by Farm Burger in Tower Place.
The space at 45 Moreland Avenue was sold by The Shumacher Group to the vitamin, herb and supplement shop that has one existing location in Atlanta.
'We will continue to operate as Cheeky and then transition to Rreal Tacos without missing a beat,' CEO Damian Otero Reggiori says.
The restaurant will be taken over by established restaurateur and native of Rome, Luigi Tartaglione.
Despite the fact that Moonlight just opened its first two locations last month, the brand already has big plans for Atlanta with three more in the works.
