Georgia-grown sports bar chain Taco Mac Monday announced it will open its Hiram restaurant on Monday, April 5 coinciding with the NCAA Championship Game. The community is invited to join the grand opening festivities beginning at 11 a.m.

Situated in the Poplar Square retail center, at 5886 Wendy Bagwell Parkway, the new restaurant marks Taco Mac’s 28th location across Georgia and Tennessee.
“We’ve been grateful to have team members and guests who have supported us while navigating COVID and are fortunate to be in the position of opening a second location after opening Lawrenceville just eight months ago,” Harold Martin Jr., the company’s CEO, said in a prepared statement. “We can’t wait to open our doors to the Hiram community and are even more excited to get to know our new neighbors through our award-winning Buffalo wings and the best sports-watching environment in town.”
The new location features an interior with 32 65-inch flat-panel TVs and a 136-inch 10,000-lumen laser projector display, and a. pair of large garage doors open out onto a patio. Taco Mac’s menu includes starters, burgers, salads, and sandwiches, and of course, its wings served with 17 different sauces and rubs.
Hiram also features a selection of 80 beers on tap. As with other locations, the new location boasts the new-and-improved Brewniversity program with new levels, new swag, and an always rotating list of beers for members to rack up credits. With the new program, current Brewniversity members retain their existing points and now have more opportunities to level up.
