The grand opening is being planned for January 28, pending construction completion. At the latest, it will open in early February.

Everbowl’s expansion into Georgia is being led by franchisee Derek Landino who told What Now Atlanta that his group is planning to become the sole franchise operator for the brand within the state. Aside from Cumming, Landino currently is eyeing six other cities to open Everbowl locations in – Alpharetta, Athens, Buford, Gainesville, Kennesaw and Marietta.

The brand, which has become known for its craft acai bowls and superfood coffee, has been on a nationwide expansion streak of late. While the majority of Everbowls are in its home state of California, locations are also in Arizona, Florida, Missouri, Nevada, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas and Utah with many more being planned.

Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, all Everbowls were company-owned, but the switch to a 100% franchised model has accelerated the brand’s growth. In 2019, Serruya Private Equity invested $3 million into Everbowl, and the brand even found a fan in retired NFL quarterback Drew Brees. Brees became an investor and franchisee earlier this year and is helping the brand expand into Louisiana and Indiana.

Founded in 2016 in San Diego by Jeff Fenster, Everbowl encourages guests to “eat positively” with multi base layered “craft your own whatever” superfood bowls. Base options include acai, pitaya, chia pudding, matcha, coco love, and blue majic. that is then topped with fresh fruit, nuts, and seeds.

“We believe the key to life is motion — and the key to motion is food. Well, superfood to be more precise,” a statement on the brand’s website reads. “Made by nature, it’s loaded with stuff that tastes amazing and is actually good for you! We craft superfood so we can ‘unevolve,’ which is our way of saying: to live and eat the way we were meant to — living actively and eating stuff that’s been around forever.”

The brand also offers craft superfood infused coffee, Superfuel, that can be ordered iced or hot. Blends include Acai Boost, Acai Rise, and Acai Shine.
