Jasmine Beck, owner of Sunshine Alchemy, has transformed the culture of outdoor convenience dining. Serving a plant-based menu full of fresh and vibrant ingredients, Beck has brought a healthy and environmentally conscious dining experience to Atlanta.
“We have been a food truck trying to build a brick and mortar for years now,” said Beck in an interview with What Now Atlanta. “We bought a 40 foot container. We’ve been working on this project for a couple of years, but it’s a lot more intricate than I had imagined, you know, financially. It’s just been a much bigger project, but we’re close now.”
Sunshine Alchemy hopes to create a space that is more available to those wanting to try their food. Currently operating on a limited schedule due to their popular catering services, Beck is excited about the possibilities a brick and mortar location will bring.
Slated to be open within the next couple of months at 3795 Presidential Pkwy, this brand new location will be equipped with a specialty bar and menu. “We’re going to have a full liquor license. We’ll have a couple of cocktails on tap as well as canned beer and wine,” said Beck.
The goal of this location will be to provide a reliable and expansive menu to its customers. “I’m excited to branch out with the menu and be able to do some more creative things once I have a little bit more space to work in,” stated Beck. Some featured menu items will be, house-made barbecue jackfruit, plant based nachos, and Impossible burgers with house-made vegan sauces.
“Everything’s really bright and colorful. And you know, whenever you see bright colorful foods, it just automatically reminds you that you can be healthy as long as it’s natural.”
A specific launch date has not been set, however, more details will be made available soon.
