Located at 1110 Hammond Drive, Sugar Shane’s Cookie Shop is set to open its second location at The Shoppes at Arabelle Perimeter in late January or early February 2022.
Owner Shane Quillin launched the cookie shop in March 2020, right at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite experiencing some initial setbacks, he quickly redesigned his business model to stay afloat and even thrive.
“People will still order sweets when times are tough and money is thin,” Quillin said in an interview with StyleBlueprint. And now, Sugar Shane’s is hoping to make it easier for even more customers in the Atlanta area to have the yummy cookies they love with its forthcoming second location. The deal was represented by Gary Woodward of JLL.
“Sandy Springs is a great fit for a number of reasons including a pallet for gourmet items, quickly growing, a combination of commercial and residential traffic, and no major effect over our current location,” Quillin told What Now Atlanta, pointing out that most of the cookie shop’s customers are over five miles from where the Sandy Springs location will be.
Guests can expect the Sandy Springs menu to be similar to the Midtown location. “We will have some exclusive products at each location as well,” Quillin said. “We change our menu daily and expect this to continue at the Sandy Springs location.”
Sugar Shane’s was the 2021 Judge’s Choice Award Champion of Dessert Wars. Its bestselling cookie flavors include Cookies and Cream, Dashing Delta, and Berry Crunch. It also offers classics like Chocolate Chip and S’mores.
The shop’s current location – which Quillin refers to as “the lab” – is in Midtown at 398 14th St. It ships nationwide and also offers local pickup and delivery through Uber Eats, DoorDash, and Grubhub.
“We are excited to grow our business with those in the Sandy Springs, Dunwoody and surrounding areas. Our storefront will have a vibrant vibe with graffiti murals, bright colors, and fun music,” said Quillin. “Lastly, we sellout frequently! We recommend coming early! See you all soon!”
