Star Metals Residences Begins Pre-Leasing, First Move-Ins Scheduled For Summer 2020

Star Metals Developer The Allen Morris Company has started pre-leasing the mixed-use project’s apartment community aptly named Star Metals Residences, the company Tuesday announced in a press release.

The initial phase of Star Metals Residences’ apartment homes is expected to welcome its first residents in summer 2020, and by its completion, will total 409 units.

Apartments, starting at $1,300 per month, are available in studio, one- and two-bedroom options.

The 409-unit Star Metals Residences, at 1050 Howell Mill Road, was designed by Oppenheim Architecture and Dwell Design Studio, with interior design by Square Feet Studio.

Amenities include a rooftop lounge on the ninth level and indoor/outdoor space with “endless views of Atlanta’s skyline.”

The area includes a rooftop bar and lounge, game room, grilling area, fire pits, seating group areas, and a “glass-box” fitness center opening onto the pool terrace.

On the ground floor amenities include a double-height curtainwall glass lobby featuring a yet-to-be-named food and beverage concept, a private outdoor dog run, an interior dog wash area, an Uber drop-off room for residents, package delivery to the resident’s door, and resident library with fireplace.

The building also features street-level upscale retail space with great neighborhood restaurants.

As part of the pre-leasing announcement, The Allen Morris Company has also revealed that CF Real Estate Services will manage the residential component of the $344 million Star Metals mixed-use development in West Midtown.

Star Metals Residences is part of the 4.75-acre Star Metals Atlanta development which includes a 275,000 square foot, class-A office building, 52,000 square feet of retail and showroom space, and a Marriott Autograph Hotel, each with ground floor and rooftop restaurants, bars, and cafés.

  1. I’m so excited for this area. These were a couple of projects I never really thought would happen, but now they’re really taking shape.

  2. This area desperately needs more paths, parks, and general walkability. They are charging near-Midtown rents with the only real location benefits being a handful of good car-oriented shops and restaurants.
